UPSC has released recruitment Notification for Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) Examination, 2020 through CS(P) Examination 2020.
UPSC IFS Exam 2020 Union Public Service Commission has released Notification for Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) Examination, 2020 through CS(P) Examination 2020. This recruitment process is done through Civil Services Prelims Exam i.e. there will be common prelims exam for both CSE and IFS. While there will be separate Mains Exam for both.
UPSC will conduct common prelims and mains exam for both but CSE and IFS 2020. Candidates who qualify prelims will be called for mains.

Educational Eligibility
For Indian Forest Services, the candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics and Zoology or a Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering.
