SBI PO Recruitment 2017-18 brought a bright opportunity for every person aiming to become a banker in this year 2017. SBI brought more than 2400 vacancies and from these, a candidate needs that one seat to become a Probationary Officer in the most sought after nationalised bank.

SBI PO Prelims 2017 exams are scheduled on April 29, April 30, May 6 and May 7. The exam will consist of 100 objective type questions based on English, quantitative aptitude and reasoning ability.

Here's some last-minute tips that might help you achieve some good scores and improve your chances for vacancy:

1. Do not burden yourself with new topics all of a sudden and study regularly

At this point of time, many new things and thoughts might be popping up in your mind, but you must not let them get to you. Don't get confused by taking up too many new things or topics at once at this last moment.

2. Go with a plan

Candidates should go with proper plan -- you should know what your strong areas are and where you lag. You have to be careful of negative marking as well.  Sometimes, a particular topic or question, for example, a puzzle or a question of data interpretation may be very difficult, and while attempting the same, you may get carried away by devoting much more time on that particular question, it will mean that you will be compromising with some other questions as you will have less time for them.

3. Remember sectional cut-offs

And most importantly, you need to remember that there is a sectional cut-off in the exam and if a particular section is tough, it will be tough for everyone; so you don't have to panic, just give your best attempt.

4. Mock tests are your savior

You will just have 60 minutes for 100 questions in an SBI PO Prelims exam, this leaves the ball in your court as you will have to manage time for each section yourself. These test series are your real savior as by taking tests every day, you can work on your strategy of time and topic management.

5. Stay healthy and take care of yourself

Being sound and healthy is very important at this time; so, don't burden yourself with overwhelming thoughts and tasks. Your confidence will sail you through this phase of the examination. Along with taking care of your preparation, do take care of your mind and body as well.

Protip: Take the print out of your admit card and photo identity proof in advance as waiting for the last moment is not in your favour and do reach the exam centre well ahead of time to avoid any unnecessary tension. Just believe in yourself and you will be able to pass this examination with flying colours.
